Our Story

Snyder Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab was formed in 2024 by Daniel
and Jada Burk. Daniel and Jada are locals to Snyder and graduates of
Snyder High School. Daniel and Jada were married in 2009 and have
three wonderful children who they love dearly (Hannah, Ian, SOON TO
COME!!). After their graduation, they left Snyder to pursue their education
at Texas Tech University (Daniel B.S. 2011) and Texas Tech University
Health Science Center in Lubbock (Jada B.S. 2011). After completing his
B.S. at Texas Tech University, Daniel applied for and was accepted into
the Doctor of Physical Therapy Class of 2015 program at Texas Tech
University Health Science Center. In 2018, Daniel sat for the board
certification examination for orthopedic physical therapy and was awarded
the designation of Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) after passing the
test. Daniel has worked in various settings and has a wide variety of
experience (inpatient rehab, orthopedics and sports rehab, neurological
settings, pediatrics, orthopedics, home health, geriatrics, vestibular, TMJ,
Bell’s Palsy, etc.). Snyder Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab’s mission is
to aid the residents of Scurry County in their recovery of injuries and
impairments in order to get them back to what they love doing most.
